We were introduced by friends and volunteer matchmakers Melissa Aaegesen and Scott Kushino. In the fall of 2003, Scott hosted a dinner party in Fall of 2003 where we laughed and talked over our first meal.

Our first official date was dinner at the Fish Café in Kirkland, Washington where we were joined by a rowdy St. Patrick's Day crowd. The luck of the Irish must have been with us that night. We've shared three St. Patrick's Days since that memorable evening.

Two things that we both love have been a big part of our time together - the west coast and the outdoors. We have lived in Seattle, Sunnyvale, and now in Los Angeles. We have hiked hills, mountains and fields from Washington state to France to Costa Rica.

In November of 2006, Mike proposed to Jeune in Pasadena on a warm Saturday afternoon. This is just the beginning of our story...
